🆕 Multi-select dropdown field option

We’ve created a new attribute type for forms throughout Talkbase and for custom attributes in the CRM. Users now have the ability to create a multi-select picklist form option.
This is applicable for CRM custom attributes, event registration forms, and community applications.

We've made a few minor fixes and improvements based on user feedback.
💪 Improvements
Community Page
  • We Improved usability by displaying a more informative error message when a workspace member (not owner) tries to change community page.
  • We improved the user experience for creating a new resource link for the community page.

  • We fixed an error where "NaN" was displayed in the funnel chart tooltip.

  • An issue with logo image size has been resolved.

Community insights:
  • You can now use custom filters on top of your insights for better visibility into various areas of your community.
Company CRM:
  • You can now add notes to the company details.
  • You can now add a new company on the company list page.

  • See how many notes have been created on the contact or company detail tab.
Events:
  • Add timezone to event settings.
  • More easily see which fields are mandatory to publish an event in the event settings.
  • Saving event updates or changes is now clearer and more understandable.

Integrations:
  • We now display a sync status which tells you if Talkbase is finished collecting data from the integration.

We just launched the latest update to our CRM (Community Relationship Management) system, which is Companies. With Companies, you can now easily view all the companies associated with the members of your community.
In addition to tracking basic company details, we monitor all the members of that company and their overall participation in your community. You can also see which platforms members interact with, including your community platforms, HubSpot, Mailchimp, and more.

🔥 New Contact Profile Page

Our contact page has a fresh new user interface and hosts a couple of new features. You can now effortlessly monitor member activities across a variety of communities and events, as well as have a smoother experience managing notes, bios, photos, and custom details. More insight into your members' activity
Along with the visual update of the Contact Profile page, we're introducing the new Insights tab for each contact. The Insights tab allows you to view the overall activity and event attendance of your community members across all your integrated channels.

For communities that use GitHub, our newest integration provides valuable insights into the contributors' performance.
The integration highlights the most active contributors who participate in codebase development, issue tracking, and engage in discussions. It can also showcase the top issuers, that is, the users who report issues or suggest new ideas.
Finally, the integration shows the most responsive contributors, that is, those actively involved in improving the codebase and helping your community with the issues they face.

🛠️ Fixes & Improvements for September 2023

  • New search input for community applications to easily find your applicants.
  • Added cancel registration link to all emails that registrant receives (confirmation email, reminder emails, event update email).
  • Fixed calendar invitation was missing when the event attendee was confirmed manually.
  • Fixed general email preview to work correctly.
For those with a community on Discord, obtaining the email addresses of members for outside engagement and tracking can be difficult. Our Discord Integration offers an easy-to-use solution through the optional installation of the Member Verification bot. It will help you identify members of your Discord community so you can take appropriate actions.
If you currently use a bot for user verification, such as a Captcha bot, do not hesitate to replace it with our verification solution. Our bot requires new members to authorize it with a single click without going through the lengthy Captcha image generator process.
